Unveiled by Sam Altman during a San Francisco event, the new name reflects the project's broader mission: a global network of verified humans.
Altman also introduced World App 3.0, which aims to be the “super app for humans,” with expanded biometric verification tools and integration with popular apps like FaceTime and WhatsApp.
Google's Gemini Surpasses GPT-4o
Google's Gemini 1.5 Pro has outpaced GPT-4o, achieving a benchmark score of 1,300, compared to GPT-4o’s 1,286. Gemini also features a context window capable of handling 1 million tokens, positioning it as a leader in solving complex problems and coding tasks, with future plans to expand its token capacity to 2 million.

SpaceX Wins $733M Space Force Launch Contract
SpaceX secured a $733 million contract from the U.S. Space Force for eight launches starting in 2026.
The missions will use Falcon 9 rockets and support both the Space Development Agency and National Reconnaissance Office.
This contract is part of a five-year program worth $5.6 billion, allowing SpaceX to further cement its dominance in the space sector.
